He stopped in to get some fast food for his family and was attacked, robbed and stabbed to death at the old McDonalds on North Market (used to be in front of the old Holiday Inn or whatever its called now).  Charlie Moss was on the BYRD Track team and was a distance runner. 

He was survived by a wife and 2 children at the time of his death.
